Theoretical elements
Understand the hazards associated with the use of individual fall protection equipment. Be able to fulfill your responsibilities as an employee in connection with the use of fall protection equipment in the workplace.
Practical elements
Be able to use passive safety devices such as single and double lanyards and fall arresters safely in familiar surroundings. Be able to use the active safety device, support strap, safely in familiar surroundings. Be able to perform basic buddy rescue in situations similar to the course scenario and in familiar surroundings. Be able to perform user checks and basic maintenance of the equipment you learn about in the course.
