Target group

Personnel who work in offshore rope rescue teams.

Previous knowledge

The Fall Rescue course requires documentation of having previously undergone basic fall protection training. For the course to also be approved in accordance with NS 9610 Fall Protection, additional prior knowledge is required.

Theoretical elements

During the theoretical part, you will learn, among other things, about relevant regulations and standards, risk assessment, and the organization of rescue operations.

Practical elements

During the practical sessions, you will become familiar with relevant equipment, including stretchers, and learn rescue methods for relatively complex situations.

Rope-based fall rescue is intended for those participating in industrial emergency response, fire, and emergency preparedness teams. The course is in accordance with Offshore Norway's guideline 113 (formerly NOG 113).
