Previous knowledge
The course requires previous participation in our Fall Rescue course.
Theoretical elements
During the theoretical part, you will be updated on current regulations and standards, risk assessment, and the organization of rescue operations.
Practical elements
During the practical sessions, you will become familiar with relevant equipment, including stretchers, and learn rescue methods for relatively complex situations.

Rope-based fall rescue refresher is for those participating in industrial emergency response, fire, and emergency preparedness teams, who have previously completed Rope-based fall rescue, also known as Rope Rescue. The course is in accordance with Offshore Norway's guideline 113 (formerly NOG 113).
