Product description

Being a capstan winch, load limits are determined by factors such as type/diameter of rope, number of turns on the drum, etc. During tests with our 11mm Low Stretch Rope and 2 turns on the drum, the rope started to slip at around 250kg so as not to overload the system components.

As well as on the leg of a Quadpod or Multipod, the Winch can be used independently when attached to a suitable anchor. It may also be used with a power drill and a suitable adapter

A back up system must always be used with the Winch when used for lifting persons. We strongly recommend that users are trained in the correct operation of the Winch, so that they can understand its uses and limitations.

Materials:
Mounting bracket – Powder coated aluminium
Pins – Steel
